About Celebrate Summer

Celebrate Summer is an initiative that was collectively formed by several local event organizers with the goal of increasing awareness of and attendance at our various events.

There are so many great marquee events in the community over the summer…how can we effectively highlight them all? By creating a cooperative, umbrella marketing campaign, the Celebrate Summer concept provides a solution.

Celebrate Summer serves as a vehicle to highlight the whole suite of events throughout the summer. Some of these events are entertainment-based, some are athletic in nature and many of them are family-oriented. Some of the events have a philanthropic or social mission tied to them, some are fee-based and many are free. There is literally something for everybody here. The one thing that these all have in common is that these are all enjoyable summer events which make our community proud.

The hope to move beyond simply highlighting happenings in the area and making them more accessible to the community. This is an exciting initiative that will mutually benefit not only the participating events, but the community as a whole. In conclusion, many of our share the vision that this joint effort will serve as a motivation to both encourage and facilitate further collaboration between other events, non-profits, businesses and organizations in the area.
